The Motorsports Association of India (MAI) is the Member of the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) in India. It is the Association responsible for the promotion of automotive sport in India under the International Sporting Code of the FIA.
Globally, all motorsport is governed by the FIA. The FIA appoints an ASN for each of it's member countries. The ASN is the only recognised holder of the Sporting Power for all branches of motor sport in its country. There is only one ASN per country.
The MAI is also a member of the Commission International de Karting (CIK), which is the Commission of the FIA that deals with world karting. |
